Smartposti user's quide for buyer
Using SmartPosti in the OSTA.EE system (within the Republic of Estonia)
Note: You have to pay the Smartposti shipping costs at the parcel locker when the parcel has arrived at the locker.
If you participate in an auction, the notification that the seller will send the parcel using the Smartposti’s services will be displayed in the auction shipping information section. The shipping costs are displayed in the auction information section.
If you win the auction, a link will be sent to your e-mail address along with the winning notice, through which you can confirm your phone number and the location of the Smartposti parcel locker that is most convenient for you.
If the Smartposti service has not been confirmed by you, the corresponding message will appear in the top right corner of your user account. After confirmation, the locker door code is sent to the seller and they can dispatch the parcel.
When the parcel has arrived at your chosen Smartposti parcel locker, an SMS will be sent to your mobile phone. In the case of a touchscreen (blue parcel) locker, payment is made on the spot at the parcel locker by bank card. In the case of a keypad (white parcel)locker or parcel point, a cash on delivery request is received in advance and must be paid by bank transfer.
After paying for the delivery by bank transfer, you will receive an SMS with the door code to pick up the parcel from the parcel locker.

Please note: A forgotten deposit payment will be automatically released to the seller 36 hours after receiving the parcel, if the parcel is picked up from a Smartposti, DPD or Omniva parcel locker or Omniva post office. There is no automatic release if there is a claim related to the transaction active at that moment.
