Closing your account

If you really want to close your account in the Osta.ee environment, you can do it from the Account settings by clicking Account settings > Closing your account.

It is not possible to close a user account if you do not meet the following conditions:

  • You have money in your e-account.  The balance must be €0. 
  • You have outstanding bills on your account. All bills must be paid.
  • Invoices sent to the debt collector are linked to your account. If these debts have been paid today, please contact [email protected] to close your account.
  • There are outstanding claims on your account.
  • The time limit for filing a claim has not yet passed since your last transaction.
  • Your account has active offers.
  • You have active and/or pending sales on your account.
  • Your account has pending deposit payments.
  • Your account has an active limit.


Reopening account

If you wish to reactivate your account within 36 months after closing your private account, log in to your account using your ID and your account will be reactivated. During this period, you cannot register a new user account with the same personal identification code.

Deleting data

After the account has been closed and the expiry date for both parties' claims has passed, we will delete the individual's personal data, after which the re-registrant will be equivalent to a person who did not have an account for Osta.ee.
