Packaging

When sending fragile items such as glass, ceramics, or electronic devices, it`s essential to pack the shipment in a box. The box should be large enough to accommodate protective materials like bubble wrap, corrugated cardboard, or packing pellets to prevent potential damage during transport.

Using the Venipak Parcel Machine Service in the OSTA.EE System

When adding a product for sale in the Osta.ee platform, you`ll find an option for the Venipak parcel machine service under the transport section. Selecting the Venipak parcel machine service for sending an item opens a menu where you can choose an appropriately sized cabinet.

If you didn`t select the Venipak parcel machine service as your shipping method when entering the auction, you can do so after a successful auction ends. Simply go to: I sell > Successfully ended > Select auction > Add transport method.

Once the sale is successful, it`s expected that the buyer chooses the delivery method that suits them and specifies the address of a specific parcel machine. After the buyer confirms their choice, you will receive the QR code and other information via email. Please note that the size of the package selected during the auction does not affect the cabinet size that opens at the machine. You can choose the cabinet size at the machine, and the service fee is calculated based on the package dimensions.

Packages are stored in the parcel machine for up to 5 days.

Sending a Parcel from a Venipak Parcel Machine

Venipak parcel lockers can only be opened by scanning a QR code. It is not possible to print a package label on site. We recommend always writing the parcel code and recipient`s phone number manually on the package.

To send a pre-formatted package via Osta.ee:
1. Scan the QR code and select the size of the locker.
2. The door will open automatically. Place the package in the locker and close the door.
